 Other Criteria:

Students must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Each Doctoral programme can award either one 100 percent or two 50 percent tuition cost scholarships to new foreign students and Turkish citizens (separately) who have a minimum undergraduate Degree CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent.
  • Each master’s programme can award one 100 percent scholarship and two 50 percent scholarships to Turkish citizens who will enroll in the programme for the 1st time with a minimum undergraduate degree CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent.
  • Additionally, there are several master’s programmes that offer new overseas students 50% tuition cost grants.

Benefits provided by the institution:
Domestic and foreign candidates are eligible for 50% or 100% bursaries, which also cover the whole cost of tuition.

How to apply for these EMU scholarships?

Applicants must follow the following steps:

  • Students must complete the application form.
  • Sign up using your emails, names, addresses, cities, countries, postal codes, and passwords.

  • Await the departmental selection committee as you may be eligible for either 50% or 100% of the scholarships.

Admission Requirements:

Students must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 (out of 4.00) or equivalent In order to enroll in Masters and Doctoral Programmes for Scholarships) .
Applicants must hold a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) (foreign students) or equivalent or a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of 2.75-2.99 or equivalent (Turkish student) in order to enroll in Masters and Doctoral Programmes for Scholarships.

Supporting or additional documents:

You must provide the following documents to the university:

  • University Diplomas copies.
  • Three recommendation letters.
  • Evidence of English Language Proficiency Certificate.
  • Your passport.
  • Passport-sized photographs, which measures around 6 cm by 5 cm.
  • Thesis Proposal.
  • Statement of Purpose(Please send on a separate sheet: Your rationale for applying to the program of choice, as well as the areas of specialization within the subject that would be of interest to you.).
  • Programme Specific Documents (MSc and PhD).
  • All levels official transcripts (BSc and MSc Subjects).

Language Requirements:

Evidence of English language proficiency is necessary for master’s programmes that are taught in English and all Doctoral programs (in Turkish and English). Your level will be evaluated by an exam at EMU if you don’t already hold a recognized English language credential that fulfills the standards of EMU, then this evaluation will lead to one of the following outcomes:

  • You will learn English along with graduate program classes.
  • You will first take rigorous English classes (without any graduate programme courses) before beginning your graduate programme.
  • You won’t need to participate in the English Language Support Programme and can start your postgraduate studies right away.
