About Lester B Pearson Scholarship
Lester B Pearson Scholarship Programme 2023-2024 is a bursary with full funding that is available for overseas students only at the University of Toronto. There are a total of 37 scholarships available for the undergraduate level. Eligibility conditions for Lester B Pearson Scholarship
Architecture, Commerce & Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Humanities, Kinesiology & Physical Education, Life Sciences, Music, Physical & Mathematical Sciences as well as Social Sciences.
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- An overseas student.
- A creative and original thinker.
- Committed to community and school.
- A high achiever in creative and academic pursuits.
- Be eager to learn and to stretch their minds.
- Have shown to be effective leaders.
- Have graduated no earlier than June 2022/Currently in their final year of secondary school.
- Wishing to start their studies in September 2023 at the University of Toronto (Students currently enrolled in post-secondary studies and those beginning their studies at another post-secondary institution in January 2023 are not eligible).
For a period of four years, the Lester B Pearson International Scholarship Programme will cover all living expenses in addition to tuition and books.
How to apply for Lester B Pearson Scholarship?
1- Obtain a nomination from your school (high schools that haven’t been contacted or verified yet are requested to submit an application for the programme, which is available here).
2- Apply to the University of Toronto to start your studies there in 2023, and submit your admission application by the appropriate deadlines. Please be aware that you will be given the Pearson Scholarship consideration for your first choice of the U of T programme. You may submit more than one application and be accepted into them all; but, if you were to get the Pearson Scholarship, it would only be available for your top choice program at the University of Toronto at the time the scholarship choices were made.
3-Once the student has got a nomination and has applied to the university, he/she can submit his/her online Lester B Pearson Scholarship application.
Applicants must have a good command of the English language in order to be eligible.
