Eligibility conditions for Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
Eligible course or programme:
The university will grant a PhD scholarship in Advanced Food Technology Research.
Other Criteria:
Students have to fulfill all of the following criteria in order to be considered:
- You must be either an Australian student or a permanent resident of Australia or an overseas student who meets the English language criteria.
- Experience with relevant research and publishing are deeply valued.
- A strong academic background in a related discipline, such as food science, chemical engineering, food/nutrition, polymer science or chemistry.
- One of the following: Achieved first-class Honours/ Second Class Honours Division A or equivalent- a Masters by Research – a Masters with at least a 25% research component.
- Show that you have sufficient English communication abilities in both speaking and writing.
- Show your capacity to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research group.
- Fulfill the entry requirements of RMIT University for the Doctor of Philosophy.

Benefits provided by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology scholarship:
In order to help students pursue their studies, the scholarship program will reward high-achieving students with up to 31 thousand dollars each year for 3 years, in addition to the possibility of a 6-month (full-time) extension.
