Eligibility conditions

Eligible course or programme: Ph.D. in Information Systems, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Business Models and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).


Other Criteria: the requirements that have to be met by students are:

  • Qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Platforms and/or infrastructures for digital content.
  • Digital ecosystems, in addition to digital business models.
  • AI applications in the workplace and/or The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
  • Knowledge of related information systems as well as strategic management theories.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • A fundamental education at  master’s degree (corres)
  • A grade of 10 (or equivalent ) on master’s thesis
  • A  master’s degree
  • A weighted grade point average of 8.2  or higher according to the Danish 7-point grading scale for the bachelor’s and master’s degree or a weighted grade point average of  9.5 or higher for the master’s degree alone

Benefits provided by the institution:
The Ph.D. scholarship will cover tuition costs, office space, course fees and travel expenses (according to the current CBS agreement) and give a salary ranging between( 27,871-33,659) Danish  Krones depending on seniority, as well as a 17.1% pension contribution.

Admission Requirements:

Students must have obtained a grade of 10 at least on the Danish 7-point scale on their master’s thesis or equivalent to be admitted into a Ph.D. program at CBS.

  • Diploma for bachelor’s and master’s degree, as well as other similar certifications and grade transcripts

  • A list of publications and articles (if applicable)
