- It will be necessary to have an excellent written and spoken command of English in order to accomplish a PhD. Please include your MSc thesis (or a scientific publication) in your application if you have written one in English.

The selected students will get all of the following study expenses:
- A gross monthly stipend and advantages including a pension scheme, pregnancy and maternity leave, as well as partially paid parental leave (According to the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities).
- In addition, there is an annual vacation allowance of 8% of the annual stipend, as well as a year-end allowance of 8.3% of the yearly stipend.
