The applicants must fulfill all the following/given criteria:

  • Applicants must be foreign students from countries in Asia and Africa who are privately-funded.

Students from the following countries are eligible to apply for the scholarships:

Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Benefits provided by the institution:
In order to help them afford their tuition in Japan, the selected students will receive JPY 10 million for their postgraduate studies at IUJ, which includes a full admission fee of JPY 300,000, full-tuition fee of JPY 6.4 million (JPY 3.2 million x 2 years), as well as a stipend of JPY 3.3 million (JPY 150,000 x 22 months).

Students must apply for admission on the university’s website. However, they must first pass the IUJ admission screening to be considered for the scholarship.

Admission Requirements:

The candidates must have earned or anticipated earning a bachelor’s degree from a recognized four-year college or university in a country that requires 16 years of formal education.

  • Topic for research.

  • Passport Copy / Photograph.

Proof of English language proficiency must be submitted by the students. Accepted tests include the TOEFL IBT, IELTS, and TOEIC.

What language does IUJ teach in?
