German PhD Scholarships for International Students

The German PhD Scholarships are proudly announced by the Gerda Henkel Foundation in order to help overseas students take their chances and achieve their targets in taking a PhD degree in Germany. So, if you are an international student with a big doctoral dream, we are glad to inform you that the program is available for the academic session 2022-2023.

Brief about the institution

Lisa Maskell founded the Gerda Henkel Foundation in June 1976 as a civil law foundation with a Düsseldorf headquarters to honor her mother Gerda Henkel. The historical humanities get funding from the Gerda Henkel Foundation. Programs with a finite lifespan, including the Democracy, Forced Migration, and Lost Cities financing programs, provide money for research projects that situate contemporary challenges in a broader historical perspective or deliberately concentrate on themes relevant to the present or the future.
